Revision of Frida Image

When I was talking to Ed he mentioned the bird could be a bit of a bingo factor as to the painting it had mixed in it so I played around with it and added this plane in its place to try and avoid that factor and push the modern take on it. I don't know that I like it better and I'm not 100% on of it works well but I've also been staring at it for a while so I figured I'd just post it regardless. 

Another New Rendition

Switched it up some with this one and used a photo of myself I did for photography where I recreated a photograph of Frida Kahlo. In this rendition, I did my best to manipulate it to resemble one of her paintings.

Final in progress

For the final project, I wanted to be able to play around with photoshop and just see what would happen with things so I decided to try and take inspiration from some of my favorite artists and manipulate photos to incorporate those art styles but with a twist so it doesn't just straight up look like one of their paintings. Basically like a modern take on some of my favorite pieces. These are the two I have right now but I'm gonna keep making more and just see what happens.

Visual Narrative

I Can't tell which rendition I like better. I think if I could figure out how to give the first one a gradient background that would help a lot but I currently haven't managed to do that.
